In the future, some one will expound,
"The Extraplanetary Age started when the 50,000 residents in space added an extra 50 billion dollars to the World Domestic Product (WDP) and add rather more to the System Domestic Product SDP".
I would say it begins when multiple millions of people, from all countries and walks of life can prove to themselves, going extraplanetary, is an achievable ambition and will be a better life for their family and their children's family.
I and I hope others will present and defend details.
For myself it will be mostly technical, and financial details.
Anyone who is interested in the future is invited to join,
non-techno and techno-sceptics are especially welcome
Members with Experience or knowledge in Legal, Management, Parenting, Entertainment, Business Management, Politics, Educational, Administration, Sociology, Medical, Banking, Entertainment, City Management to name a few are needed.
They will join the technologists which I hope will find the Meetups very appealing.
The immediate object iis to generate a set of presentations with as much of the mistakes and omissions in the presentations, eliminated.
The Background
Over the last decade or so I have discussed with many people from all over the world what Extraplanetary Living will be like.
The conclusion from these discussion is the start of the Extraplanetary Age is close and will change, law, economics, politics, transport, communications, industry, education, business, entertainment, society and others.
The changes will be greater off Earth, but profound changes will occur on planet.
Some of the things I learned from the discussions were
I was never completely right, often completely wrong,
How to listen very hard,
You have to swallow and learn from failure to reach most goals.
If it is too easy or too hard, find another solution
If there is a 1000 right ways there is 1,000,000 wrong ways.
Meetups will start when we have at least 50 members, with a reasonable spread of experience and origin.
