What we’re about
Welcome to NAGA - the Nashville Area Gamer Association. Our goal is to unite the gamers of Nashville with their fellow hobbyists regardless of which style of gaming they are interested in. Whether it's war gaming, card gaming, board gaming, table top or live-action roleplaying we want to support it. Our goal is not to replace other local gaming resources such as other meetups, Yahoo! groups, or the bulletin boards at your friendly local gaming store but to provide a centralized location for gamers to find these groups in the first place. We also intend to be a resource for gamers to find safe, neutral venues to run their games at as well as catalog the local gaming and hobby shops in order to foster the local gaming business.

Nashville Unveiled (https://nashvilleunveiled.com/) is a twice monthly live action roleplaying game. The players take on the roles of humans and/or supernatural creatures such as vampires, wizards, and other creatures of legend that inhabit a fictional version of the modern day world. It is basically the current world with a subtle and supernatural twist. Think "Harry Potter," "Stranger Things," or "Supernatural." The stories are usually told from the perspective the supernatural inhabitants of the world.
New Players are welcome. No experience needed: we'll help you get started. We're a friendly and open group. Some level of costume is fairly common, but certainly not required. While the event begins at 5pm, the doors open at 4pm, and it is recommended you arrive early to prepare your character and get to know people. We usually have food early in the evening, an intermission halfway through, and often go to restaurant afterwards at around 10pm to socialize.
Live Action Roleplaying is similar to a murder mystery dinner party. It is a cross between improvisational theater and a board game. Players in the group create a character that they play out over many games, developing their character and his or her relationship to the other characters.
