Welcome to the Northern Colorado Social Dance Connection Meetup.
If you love to dance or are new to social dance you are invited to join.
The purpose of our meetup is to provide a place for new and experienced dancers to connect and share the experience of social dance in northern Colorado. This meetup will allow and encourage meetups for social dance events and dance instruction for ages 21 years+.
Joining our meetup will connect you with like-minded dancers and social dance instructors that desire to attend enjoyable, safe social dance events and instruction. You will be able to find a variety of dance styles and instruction as well as dance enthusiasts in this community.
We encourage individuals interested in facilitating events and instruction the opportunity to organize and host events as designated “host or organizers” (approved by the hosts and organizers). We have hard-working volunteers working behind the scenes to make this meetup group and the posted events successful for you. We therefore ask all members in this meetup to:
1) Please honor your RSVPs
2) Post a clear head shot photo and forthright profile description
3) Volunteer to assist where and when needed
4) Treat all of our members and guests with the utmost respect
This is not a dating site. It consists of unmarried individuals and married couples that wish to dance. Improper stalking, harassment, messaging and emailing will not be tolerated. Any “red flags” should be brought to the attention of the hosts and organizers. We understand the importance of privacy. If you wish to increase your social exposure on Meetup, please keep your profile & photo up to date and consider "private" vs. "public" settings. As of 2018, we have become a private group meaning that the organizers will now approve new members. This is due to the increased “spamming” to meetup.com memberships.
