We are just a bunch of easy going men and women looking to add some more excitement to our poker playing. We feel the more players the more fun and of coarse more money to be won.
Orangeville Home Poker Tour was started by Steven Kerr in 2006 for Season 1.
OPT also runs satellite tournaments to Major Events like The World Series OF Poker, World Poker Tour Events, and Deepstacks Poker Tour Events. By running these Satellites, we have had OPT Members go on to win a WSOP Bracelet, A WSOPc Ring, Venetian Deepstack Extravaganza Titles, as well as Venetian Mega Stack Titles.
If you are someone that is easy going and can take a bad beat every now and then, then we are looking for you to join us in some fun poker action.
Don't let the waiting lists discourage you from signing up as, you will still have a good chance of getting a seat.

The League's Season consists of 14 Tournaments and runs every other Friday.
Each poker tournament is a freeze out cash tournament where players accumulate points to play in the MAIN EVENT after the 14 tournaments have been completed.
WSOP Satellites follow the exact same structure of a WSOP $1500 Event but with 30 minute blinds instead of 60 minutes.
Other Satellites like to WPT Montreal, WPT Fallsview and Great Blue Heron, will follow as close to possible of the event you are winning a seat in, and are held in either Orangeville, or Bolton.
Cash Games are rake free and usually start after there is enough players eliminated from the tournaments and satellites.

Tomorrow is a Holiday so lets play a satellite the night before.
If you win you can play the WSOPc Woodbine Main Event the next day or on Saturday.
$2000 in buy ins awarded for every 10 Entries.

Structure Using Big Blind Ante - Follows the WSOP

Add On - $100 (all to the prize pool) - any player regardless of stack size may choose to add on an addition 15,000 in chips at the start of the first break. (must be done at start of first break)
Equity - 10% - If the winning Satellite Player cashes in the Event they choose to play, then 10% of their take home payout will be divided equally among those players that played in the Satellite.
This is an Equity Player Choice Stand Alone Satellite. Players may choose any major event to play. (WSOPc Woodbine, WSOPc Playground, Irish Open, WSOP Vegas, Wynn Series, Venetian Deepstack Series)
Equity will be adjusted if needed.
Players can also choose to split the $2000 into 4 different $500 Events or 2 different $1000 Events, etc..
Players will have until the end December 2026 to use their Equity Satellite Winnings.
As Always this is BYOB, we will supply some snacks and some pop.
