What we’re about

Join us to learn & share knowledge about application security via presentations, hands-on exercises, and sometimes CTFs (capture the flags).  If your into ethical hacking, penetration testing, or secure coding then check us out.

BTW - OWASP is global (https://OWASP.org).  We are the Delaware chapter.  The official home page for the Delaware chapter is https://owasp.org/www-chapter-delaware/ (That is the place to look if things with Meetup go sideways.)

We plan to meet approx. monthly (or every other month) in northern Delaware for presentations and talks on all aspects of software security.

We encourage everyone to participant.  Got a recent school project you want to present?  A quick tutorial?  This is a good place to practice your presentation skills.

The chapter is committed to providing an engaging experience for all skill levels, from students to accomplished professionals.  The Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) is dedicated to making application security visible by empowering individuals and organizations to make informed decisions about true application security risks.  The OWASP Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit worldwide charitable organization.  OWASP does not endorse or recommend commercial products or services. Instead, we allow our community to remain vendor neutral with the collective wisdom of the best individual minds in security worldwide.

There is a mailing list for the Delaware chapter here (remember mailing lists?): https://groups.google.com/a/owasp.org/d/forum/delaware-chapter

Like all OWASP chapters our meetings are free and open to anyone.
