What we’re about

The Ohio Valley Trailblazers is a hiking club for those who like longer, more challenging day hikes. We are located in Cincinnati, OH and will travel up to two hours (and sometimes a little longer!) to find some of the most challenging and rewarding day hikes in the region. This includes Red Byrd Arch in the Red River Gorge, the Moonville and Kings Switch Tunnels out at Zaleski, the old abandoned Vastine Quarry at Shawnee State Forest and Messmore Cliffs in Indiana.

The occasional car-camping base-hike trip or backpack trip is not out of the question!

For more information, please check our About page. It provides a bit more detail about our group.

Before joining our group please review the Standard Event Rules. It is important that you understand the expectations so that everyone can enjoy the hikes to the fullest.

Experienced hikers should join this group to enjoy challenging and rewarding trails and post-hike food and drink and camaraderie with a crew of great and fun folk.

So, are you ready to hike the long trails with us?
