What we’re about

The Ottawa GoGeomatics Group meets each month to talk about jobs and business opportunities in Ottawa. As well we all just love to talk surveying, GIS and remote sensing. It’s a informal get together where we have a pint and and network. You will meet professionals, students, business owners, entrepreneurs, and recruiters at these events. They have no cost and no formal structure. We just get together. Local Ottawa Geomatics businesses come to network and even look for candidates at these socials. As well many businesses are able to share ideas on new business opportunities with fellow entrepreneurs. You never know who might show up!

🔹 Farzaneh Farshad – A Business Analyst at AedoAI Inc., Farzaneh has a background in civil engineering, GIS, and business analytics. With experience at the City of Ottawa and AedoAI, she specializes in data analysis, project coordination, and geospatial solutions. She’s passionate about problem-solving and collaboration and will be a fantastic addition to our leadership team.

🔹 Jonathan Bailey – A leader in digital transformation, GIS, BIM, and geospatial technology, Jonathan’s career spans software architecture, geospatial intelligence, and innovative system design. With experience at Arup, Esri, Thales Canada, and leading consulting firms, he brings valuable expertise and mentorship to the Ottawa group.
