We have a 5-week course starting on Tuesday 29th April, and students have the option to attend the first class as a taster before committing to the full course.
However, If the course fills up completely, priority will be given to those who have enrolled in the full program. This means that in some cases, students who signed up for the taster later may not be able to attend and will receive a refund. With only 12 places available, registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
For those who want to secure their spot, we recommend signing up for the full course. If they decide after the first class that it’s not the right fit, they can receive a refund for the remaining weeks, minus the cost of the first class.

Join us for a taster class delivered by Stage & the City. Learn Musical Theatre from top industry professionals.
In this course, you'll work through a selection of musical theatre numbers, learning all the tips and tricks to performing in a musical and what it takes to keep an audience entertained. This is a great fun and fabulous way to learn three disciplines in one. An upbeat course that will have you singing, dancing and acting in no time.
The new term starts on 29th April 2025 so we are offering the first class of the term as a taster class to try the course before committing. All ages above 18 years old are welcome. You are never too old to try something new. This class is suitable for anybody who loves the idea of performing in a musical but has no or little experience.
Sign up for the full 11 week course, and you'll have the chance to perform at our 10th Anniversary Stage & the City Charity Showcase in July!

Are you interested in finding out more about what it takes to be an actor: what goes on in the rehearsal room; how you take a script from page to stage and the techniques an actor uses to be able to recreate a performance eight shows a week? This course is all about play! You will play games and improvise, whilst also getting the opportunity to rehearse and perform scripted duologues and monologues from British and American playwrights, using a range of acting techniques from practitioners including Stanislavski, Stella Adler, Lee Strasberg and Uta Hagen.
The new term starts on 1st May 2025 so we are offering the first class of the term as a taster class to try the course before committing. All ages above 18 years old are welcome. You are never too old to try something new.
