What we’re about
This group is about widows and widowers gathering to share their stories and to socialize with others who have lost a spouse. We plan activities that both the men and woman can enjoy. Some members have opened up their homes or a holiday open house. All members are encouraged to recommend events for the group. The organizer and assistant organizers should be notified with all of the details and it will be posted on our calendar. Activities are generally planned in areas that are centrally located but we have also designated co organizers in the different areas of the city.. Driving outside of your area is encouraged as you will find new relationships and activities. if you would like to be a co organizer just let me know. Life is all about how you handle plan B, learning to live with the new normal. This is not a grief group or a counseling group but if you want to talk we all understand. We are here together to make new friends, and get out there and see what this city has to offer!!
