What we’re about

It's pretty straightforward. We're a group of people that like to RUN and have fun! Every Wednesday we meet at a different local bar throughout San Diego, go for a run, and finish back at the bar to cool down and socialize over drinks. If you're in your 21-30s (or just think you can hang) with a fun and outgoing personality looking to meet new people and explore San Diego, then come join us! Even if you show up late, the course will be chalked out on the sidewalk so you know where to go. All of our runs are mapped out on MapMyRun.com so you can follow along via their mobile app!

All running paces are welcome! We have enough people that runners of all paces have someone to run with! Our group consists of runners who are just starting out to people that have qualified for the Boston Marathon! Many of our runners have improved in both distance and pace since they started running with us! Whether you are new to San Diego, looking to meet new friends, or just want to escape the humdrum of everyday life, these Wednesday runs are a great way to unplug. This week we'll be running out of Best Pizza and Brew Clairmont. Our runs are now starting after dark. Please bring a light and/or bright or reflective clothing for your own safety while running.

The route will also be chalked, so keep an eye out for markings on the sidewalk as you go. Total distance according to MapMyRun is 4.06 miles. All paces are welcome!

We start out running south along Genesee Ave, though a couple of intersections (watch the lights!) until you get to Marlesta Drive, turn right. Once you get to Auburndale St, turn left again, that street will turn into Petit Street momentarily and then Hathaway St (there are some curves involved) follow that series until you get to Balboa street. Cross Balboa and then take a left. Follow the sidewalks along Balboa until you get back to Genesee where you will take a right. Run along Genesee until you get back to the bar!

This week we'll be running out of Coronado Brewing Company. Our runs are now starting after dark. Please bring a light and/or bright or reflective clothing for your own safety while running.

For this week's run we'll start by heading out of the parking lot and running along Morena Blvd, running under the overpass and then taking the stairs to the left before continuing along Tecolote Road/Sea World Drive. Please take care when crossing the overpass. We'll turn again on East Mission Bay Drive and then do the short loop around Fiesta Island before following the same route back to the brewery.

This week's run is a pretty simple square. We'll start by running up 5th Avenue towards University where we'll turn right. We'll follow University until we hit Park where we turn right again by the Rose Garden Bridge. From there we'll return to the bar by running through Balboa Park.

This week we start by heading up Fern before making a quick turn onto Laurel. From there we'll take 29th south until we hit A where we'll turn right. We'll continue along A, making a detour to loop Golden Hill Drive park, and then turn left on 24th. From there we'll return by taking B street to 30th back to the bar.
