What we’re about
A meeting of German-language speakers and learners in the SLC area open to all levels of proficiency and fluency. We will try to meet regularly, roughly every two weeks, in the Downtown, University, and Sugar House areas. I would like to keep the meetings informal, but with a focus on learning and improving everyone's speaking abilities and comfort level. Speaking, however, will not be required. If you want to show up and listen in, you're welcome, too. Fluent and native speakers are especially welcome to attend.

Guten Tag!
The weather has been more variable and unpredictable, recently, so I'm going with a safe option for the next meeting location. Woodbine Food Hall has worked well in the past. They have indoor seating in the main hall, and some shaded table seating in the back (south end). I have seen stories that they have new food tenants, so let's give it another try. We can sit outside, if it's warm. If it's rainy or cold, we can grab tables inside.
To get there: If you're driving on I-15. Take the 600 South exit, then turn right at the first intersection (400 West), then right again at the next intersection (700 South), and it will be on your left in about 1 and 1/2 blocks. Parking is free and usually abundant in the area after 5:00.
Anyone with any level of fluency is welcome to attend. There is no agenda or start time, so arrive whenever you can. Guests are also welcome. It's open to anyone, but speaking in German as much as possible is encouraged. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me or post a comment below.
Bis dann!
