We are a friendly, fun and outgoing group of people who are looking for fun and exciting things in and out and around SOCAL and opportunities to give back to the less fortunate. If you are looking to meet some like minded people who like going out, seeing movies, walking, hiking, hanging out over a glass of wine, enjoying fine dinners, hanging out in fine lounges, dancing, karaoke, shopping, then this group is for you!
No-Shows and Last-Minute Cancellations: A Three-Strikes Policy
To minimize no-shows and last-minute cancellations we have a three-strikes rule. If you RSVP "yes," then we expect you to show up. We keep track of the no-shows and people who have pulled out at the last minute (last minute means after the RSVP's have closed for the event).
If you don't show up or if you cancel at the last minute, you have one strike. If this happens again, you have two strikes against you. After the third strike, we will remove you from the group. The "three-strikes" rule spans out over a period of 3 months. This means 3 "no-shows" OR 3 "last minute cancels" in 3 months = REMOVAL!
We are open to redemption. Life can get in the way and cause you to miss an event occasionally. If this happens to you and you want to erase a strike against you or return to the group, we will accept a $3 donation to the group (it costs us money to run the group and it causes us stress and inconvenience when people flake out).

Membership fee: $1 per year - it is completely voluntary! This is to help pay with the yearly Meetup fees – only if you feel it is worth $1/year, it would be definitely greatly appreciated.
