We will be participating in the Windcrest 4th of July parade again!
Timeline:
Line up—9:00 AM
Group photo—9:45 AM
Parade starts—10:00 AM
We will take our group photo before the parade starts.
The parade route, about a mile long, goes around the Windcrest golf course. The first street has a slight incline. There are some shaded spots and some sunny spots, so please consider your dogs' feet. Hopefully, with the parade in the morning this time, the ground will not be hot.
Feel free to bring a stroller or wagon. In past years, members have brought their own decorated strollers or wagons, which is totally optional. 🙂
We will line up on Faircrest Dr., in front of Windcrest Elementary School. We're usually near the front of the line with the other walking groups.
There will also be vendors and music. If you have any questions, please ask!
Parking: street parking, easiest parking will be along Midcrown. Keep in mind, Windcrests speed limit is 20mph!
