What we’re about
The Science and Engineering Council holds monthly meetings on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from noon to 1:30pm. Currently those meetings are on Zoom, but we hope to return to lunch meetings at the Frog Bar & Grill in Goleta soon. Our meetings feature talks by local experts from tech industry and university researchers. Subjects range from green technology to nanotechnology and more. Our meetings are currently free to members and open to anyone who RSVPs for a small fee that goes to support the annual Santa Barbara Science Fair, science/engineering scholarships, and administrative costs. Membership is open to anyone who wants to join.
