What we’re about
The Happy Bottom Riding Club is a group of motorcycle enthusiasts that like to get together to enjoy the open road on two wheels. Get in the wind, twist the throttle and find an interesting place to hang out, tell stories and have some laughs. Typically the parking lot of a gas station (lol) or someplace that serves breakfast, lunch or dinner. Occasionally a bike rally or an over-niter might be in order as well.
If you are a seasoned rider, have group riding experience and like to go out for 100-400 mile cruises, then you might like this group. If chalking up stops at watering holes is your mission, then probably not.
Our rides are about the group as a whole. We typically set an easy pace where everyone in the group can feel comfortable and have an enjoyable ride. Keep the group together. Patience is key! There are times where the pace might get turned up a notch or two, but that all depends on the riders in that particular group. I make a great effort in trying to gauge everyone's skill and comfort levels and won't be pressured to push anyone beyond that.
No strict rules but we stride to stay in formation and hone our group riding skills in order to stay safe and make the journey that much more enjoyable.
