Love is a wellspring of joy that we can learn to create and access within our own heart. Without love, life is bereft of meaning, joy and connection. With love, we can live a happy and purposeful life. Through Buddha's ancient wisdom, we discover that we can essentially 'teach' ourself how to love more and more people. We come to understand that love is not something you either have or don't have, in dependance upon another person, but that it is the natural expression of our inner potential for limitless love and compassion. If we have a sincere wish, we can remain with a mind of love all the time, making ourself and others happy.
In this series of meditation classes, you will learn how to practice creating love within your own mind and how to purify your love to make it more powerful, and less conditional.
Class begins with a guided breathing meditation, followed by practical instructions on the topic, concluding with a final meditation and time for questions.
No meditation experience needed. These meditation classes, suitable for all, offer practical methods to improve the quality of our lives through meditation and Buddhist teachings. Each class is available on a drop-in basis. You can attend the entire series or individual classes, as each class is self-contained.
