What we’re about
Welcome to Sierra Club's Toiyabe Chapter - Southern Nevada Group Meetup Page. Sierra Club is the region's largest and most powerful volunteer, grassroots conservation organization. Check our calendar to see our opportunities to take action, get involved, or just join us for a hike.
We invite you to join us in protecting our public lands, wildlife refuges, forests, parks and wilderness for all. We welcome your donations to support our important local work. Thank you for all that you do to explore enjoy and protect Nevada and our public lands.
From our base in Las Vegas, the Southern Nevada Group is proud to serve Sierra Club members and friends throughout the lower portion of the state, including residents of Clark, Nye, Esmeralda, Lincoln and White Pine counties. Our certified Outings leaders provide opportunities to explore the region’s natural bounty, with frequent hikes scheduled along the trails of Red Rock Canyon NCA, Lake Mead NRA, Valley of Fire State Park, Humbolt-Toiyabe National Forest and other areas of scenic beauty and wilderness.
We have quarterly mixers, environmental education programs, tabling events and cause-related political activities are regular features of our annual calendar.
