What we’re about
Being single is a lot different now than it was in your early 20's, right? Do you find hanging out with married couples to be a bit awkward now that you are single again? When you got divorced, did you unknowingly and unintentionally also divorce most of the friends? This group is about making and maintaining friendships with people who understand the joys and pains of being a working single parent and who live in the West Metro area. All single parents are welcome to join the group, but the majority of members do live in the northwest suburbs, so that is where most meetups will take place. Unless noted otherwise, activities are adult only (we all have kids and need to get out and have fun with other adults - occasionally we do host kid friendly events). This is not a dating group, so no pressure and come as you are. This is not a support group, but it is likely you will find an open ear if you need to vent. It's easy to participate in this group, so no excuses!
