How else is it similar/different from Traditional Speed Dating

One on One dates:

We will break participants into pairs of two, just like we do with traditional speed dating. You will get to speak to each dates for a specified amount of time (typically 4-6 minutes). After the specified number of minutes, the guys will rotate to the next date and the process continues.

Just like with traditional speed dating, at the end of the event you will be able to let us know who you were interested in. We will send you both mutual matches (you picked them and they picked you) as well as one way matches (they picked you but you did not pick them).

You are given 20 minutes from the end of the event to let us know who you are interested in and will receive the results the same night (usually within one hour) or the next morning. You will not have to wait 24 hours or more to get your results.

How many potential dates will be there?

The minimum number of potential dates will be 5 and the maximum will be about 15. If for any reason there were less than 5 members of the opposite sex in attendance, you would get credit for a future Virtual event.

This event is open to all who want to make new online friends. It is open to all and is NOT meant to be age specific or gender balanced or geographic specific.

ABOUT
In this crazy Coronavirus world, many of us are feeling isolated and need to socialize. I created Online Speed Friending to allow you to do just that, in a fun safe environment.

The in person speed friending events are some of our most popular and well attended meetups. Now we have developed a system where you can enjoy this event from the comfort and safety from your own home.

HOW IT WORKS
We will take all of the participants and break them up Virtually into smaller groups of 3-4 people. You will be in a private online room (for 5-10 minutes) with just your small group (you can see and hear others in your group). The host will provide an ice breaker question. At the end of each round, you will have an opportunity to share contact information privately with people you felt connected with.

The groups will then be mixed up again and you will meet more people. This process will continue for about 75 minutes.
