This group is NOT open to random membership. You must be personally recommended by a FULL Member and you must attend a meeting with that member before your application will even be considered. Any Person who applies to join without following these steps, will be immediately declined. If they re-apply without following these steps, They will be Permanently BANNED.

The “Sons of Poseidon (S.O.P.) Veterans Riding Group (VRG)”, also herein referred to as “group, brotherhood, fraternity, membership,” is a brotherhood that shall promote fellowship and fraternity of Navy Active Duty and Reserve, Retired, and Honorably Discharged male veterans through responsible activities of its members. We will increase the level of enthusiasm and awareness for group riding while promoting issues important to the United States Navy, and the community, showing open support for our Navy’s Sailors and other military service members, we shall display a personal code of conduct in accordance with the Navy Core Values, “Honor, Courage, and Commitment.”
Release statement:
I understand that the Son's of Poseidon (SOP) cannot assume responsibility for any aspect of my safety and that if I participate in any SOP event, I do so voluntarily, on my own assessment of my ability, the routes, and all facilities and conditions, assuming all risk. And I release and hold the Son's of Poseidon, its officers and members, harmless for any injury and/or loss to my person or property which may result there from. I also certify that I am in compliance with my state financial responsibility laws regarding the carrying of proper insurance and holding appropriate operator's license. I further understand that membership information will be held online in a secure 3rd party hosted database.
