What weāre about
This is a meetup group for the creative people of Stockholm who are looking for companionship of other creatives. We aim for a simple sense of community to begin with, and if people are inspired, perhaps some collaboration can happen.
Meetups are held on a regular basis where we engage in conversations and discussions about a predetermined topic of interest.
People of all creative fields are welcome to join. Whether if you are into creative writing, filmmaking, painting, photography, performing, designing, or just have a general interest in creativity, we would love to meet you. It is a rich mix and makes for a lively meetup!
With a healthy dose of āfikaā, we encourage and inspire each other to explore our creativity by fostering a vibrant space that is supportive and non judgmental.
Things to expect:
ā¢ A friendly group of supportive people to hang out with on a regular basis.
ā¢ A safe environment for new creatives and established ones.

Things that we avoid:
ā¢ Judgment calls. This is a friendly community where we can find support and camaraderie.
ā¢ Drama. Let's leave the drama in the fictional stories!

Discover how comic books tell stories using panels and shapes. In this sketching session, we will explore comic book layouts and adapt them to create our own stories.
This is a casual, creative setting where you can let your ideas flow, meet other creatives and get inspired. All free! Everyone is welcome - beginners and experienced artists alike!
We will provide some drawing materials. You are welcome to bring your own materials if you like.

- TIME: 11:00.
- VENUE: Kungsholmens Internationella biblioteket, on the second floor.
- WHAT TO BRING: Feel free to bring your own sketchbook/tablet, but not required.

Yup! Our sketching gang is hosting at Kulturnatt this year as well! Come and try sculpting, botanical drawing, fun drawing exercises, all led by experienced creatives, and all for free. Everyone is welcome - beginners and experienced artists alike!
Free coffee and tea all night. Plus, we provide material for drawing and sculpture. This is going to be a popular event, so please RSVP now and arrive on time.
Venue: Kungsholmens Internationella biblioteket, on the ground floor.
Introductions to technique and theme will be repeated periodically starting at 21:00 until midnight. You can pick to join any of these activities:
Station 1: Sketching exercises for the emerging sketcher
You want to draw but donāt know where to start? With fun and simple drawing exercises you loosen up your drawing hand and learn a few drawing hacks.Station 2: Clay sculpture
Learn about proportions, anatomy and how to think three-dimensionally as you form a small portrait out of clay.Station 3: Botanical drawing
Learn how to draw flowers with pencils and ink pens, to add details and shading to make your botanical drawing look realistic.PS. Since this is Kulturnatt, we are uncertain how many will turn up. Therefore, there are no guarantees of spots in each activity. But show up in time and we can try to make it work.
