Founded in 1969, Sunburst’s purpose is to create a fertile environment, within and without, to cultivate spiritual growth and nurture each seeker’s direct experience of the Divine. This is the journey of Self-Realization!
We facilitate spiritual education and support through workshops, retreats, meditation, our Sunday services, and devotional song circles, as well as classes and initiations in Kriya Yoga: the universal science of uniting the soul with the Infinite Spirit.
In accordance with our mission, Sunburst is also passionate about exploring and implementing the principles of sustainable Earth stewardship through permaculture and organic gardening.

This special watercolor painting technique creates depth and dimension as layers are built up around the white or lighter subject of the painting. Sometimes called “negative painting,” the results can be positively stunning. Carol Talley will lead us step-by-step in creating our own painting. Required materials will be available at the class, or bring your own (suggested list will be sent upon sign up).
Previous art experience is NOT required.
