NoBo Mrkt was the crowd pick for January. Beers on tap, a bar, and a food too! The Common Grounds building has a little parking underneith and more off on the east side, NoBo Mrkt is in the back of the first floor, nearest the river. We have had a nice stretch of good attendance, looking forward to seeing everyone!
For those who are new - TC Telecommuters is a group of professionals who work remotely in the Traverse City area for companies around the United States. We cover the all careers including designers, programmers, educators, researchers, HR, legal, sales, educators, managers, etc.
We may not have in-person co-workers, but we can all have a drink together!
So while you can’t make the work happy hour for your company (where ever that is) you can join up with a bunch of new friends! So stop complaining about your work day to your cat and come out and meet some people.
The basics:
- Table space is first come first serve - I'll do my best to hold space.
- Very few people at these things know each other. You may be new, but you'e not an outsider. Many people have shown up at this only benign town for a few weeks - never too early or late to make new friends!
- Bring a friend if you like.
- Please settle your bill with the waitstaff, there isn’t a group tab.
