Long Ashton Walk, a walk of two halves - around Ashton Court in the morning, and the Long Ashton Circular Village Walk in the afternoon, with a stop at the Angel Inn afterwards for a drink and possibly a pub-lunch. Both walks have hilly parts to them, and are suitable for the physically active. The afternoon walk is brambly in places. The total distance is about 6 miles. Start point - outside The Angel Inn, at 11am. Bristol and Bath A to Z, page 75 square E1. Directions: A370 South West out of Bristol, left on to B3128 to Long Ashton, left on to the Long Ashton Road. The Angel Inn is on your left hand side, close to Church Lane. Postcode BS41 9LT. Bring drinking water, waterproof clothing, walking boots. All walkers, attend at their own risk as per the club's disclaimer.
