LOW (consistently pass, set, and hit the ball over the net 51%) to MID INTERMEDIATES PLAYERS ;-P

3 X 3 or 2 X 2 GAMES ONLY (depending on how many sign in)

Minimum guest count has to be 4 for this event to occur.

A decision will be made by the 9pm the night before.

Advance players are welcome to come, but expect the play level to be intermediate.

All RSVPs will be first come first serve, once the cap is met you will be placed on the WAITLIST and added once someone changes their RSVP.

NOTES: Organizers will reserve the right to change the RSVP player status at any time based on keeping games competitive with players of similar skill levels.

If you RSVP and are a No-Show 2 times, organizers reserve the right to take you off the Going list for future events.

At least 4 people must be signed up for this event to occur.

The courts have lines and nets already, so just bring your balls, and start warming up for some fun games!

Please come on time to secure courts because Sunday early morning is very popular for VB during non-winter season.

Event is limited to 8 players. 2v2 games.
INTERMEDIATE+ & ADVANCED players only.
Players with higher skill levels will be given priority. The organizers maintain the right to adjust the RSVP player status to ensure that the games remain competitive.
If you are on the waitlist, RSVP changes occur generally the day before or the day of the event. Regular players who show up on time and have similar playing abilities have priority over occasional or other players.
PLEASE READ THE POST AND ONLY SIGN UP IF WHAT IS POSTED HERE IS OKAY WITH YOU.
3 pm to 6 pm games are 2v2 only. Please only sign up if you have experience in beach 2v2s.
Please be attentive to your RSVPs and change them preferably a day in advance. You may be taken off the RSVP list for future games for the following reasons:
1. If you have too many last-minute cancellations;
2. Often late more than 30 minutes;
3. No-shows;
4. Playing level is not up to par with the rest of the group.

Join us for some fun beach volleyball games. The best way to end your weekend, and get ready for Monday, back to work! Enjoy the ocean breeze, the scenery, sound of the waves, and the happy people around. We play till sunset, or until all cry uncle! leaving us enough time after the games for those who want to enjoy a bite and a drink nearby.

Notes and suggestions:
• No beginners please.

• Please RSVP by Saturday EOD and don't be a flake, or I'll tell mom on you. Your friends count on you

• Competition is encouraged, while all get to participate and play their position. Our approach is one of positive encouragement for improvement, and avoiding negative body language, criticisms or complaints.

• You might consider a beach chair, an umbrella, socks... to make yourself comfortable.

• If you arrive early and see a court available, own it! All you need is a ball or lines.

Parking:
Parking up the hill is FREE. Parking at the beach is metered. ARRIVE EARLY in summer. It may take a little time to find a parking spot.

Court:
There is no guarantee that we can get enough courts, but we always have. Most often one of the southside courts. If not, walk north (towards the jetty) and CHECK other courts, as shown in the map below.

• So Cal Tsunami
  This was July 7, 2014. We saw a few consecutive big waves. It looked like a tsunami. All our courts were flooded. We had our bags against the bushes, and a few times had to pick them up as the waves went past the bushes and into the drive way behind. You can see more pictures in the photo album. surreal!

• What we'll do
Women's Indoor. 5 teams are put together every four weeks. Each team will play four games (to 25) every Monday Morning. Each Round is 4 weeks. Cost per player for 4 week round is $22.00 Amazing group of volleyball athletes from 25 to 60 years old -- YES 60 because our players have play competitive volleyball several days a week.... its strong play with laughs in between. Ladies if you played competitive volleyball in your lifetime and want to get back to your love of the game this is for you....!!!

League is by invitation only -- must do a 30 min tryout to potentially make it to a team.
