Welcome to The Providence Winos and RI BYOB Group!
Have some vino and meet fellow Wine Enthusiasts near you! Come to a local Wine Meetup to taste new wines; learn about food pairings; and share your love of the grape! We welcome all wine lovers whether you're a social drinker or an educated connoisseur.
We are also incorporating the RI BYOB DIning Meetup Group to The Providence Winos, offering regular events dining at the many BYOB Restaurants in the RI area.

BYOB Events:
Think of all the times you've eaten out and the drink bill was more than the food bill. Most of the time you just guessed at the wine or went on the recommendation of the wait staff, right? Imagine always being able to drink exactly what you want with your dinner. Better yet, imagine paying 1/4 the price. And beyond that, imagine sharing on other people's choices in what to drink that very same evening. That's what we're about: good restaurants, good food, and good company, all on a budget. Join us!
It should be noted that we put in a lot of effort in working with restaurants to help get the best experience for both us and to them as we help promote their service. With that in mind, we place a great importance on attendance and expect that if you choose to RSVP "Yes" to a BYOB Dinner, you will be joining is. If you are a "No Show" to any event you are RSVPed to without a fair explanation, you will be removed from the group. Additionally, if you change your RSVP to a "No" within 2 hours of the start of an event without a fair explanation, you will be removed from the group. Other than that, our only "rule" is to have fun!
