I will start off the session with a 15 minute ChiWalking/ChiRunning Technique Session.
All levels of women are welcome! No specific distance or pace is expected or required, we are simply meeting as a group to run or walk or a combination of the 2.
For this Second Saturday Run/Walk only running coach Lisa of The Running University will meet with us and give Chi Walking and Chi Running form tips for a few minutes before we start our laps and she'll hang out during the walk/run if anyone wants her to check form while you're running or walking!
We will be meeting on the Second Saturday of each month.
Members will meet next to the water on the north side of the lake (please see the map for the specific location. there are MANY places to park at Kiwanis. The easiest spot to park in order to meet us is in the parking on the north side of the park, so turn south off of Baseline.) Depending on your goals you can either run on the canal that runs parallel the park or do laps on the sidewalk around the water. I will stay with the most chill people. There are benches all around if you need or want to take breaks. There is plenty of shade if you are lapping the water but very little if you are on the canal.
