What we’re about

We recognize that "health" is far more than absence of disease, and we enthusiastically optimize our wellness in each area of our lives. To this end, we meet to learn about, practice, and support each other in activating the seven spokes of the Slow Medicine Wheel of Health: the physical (play tennis, practice yoga), the mental-emotional (recite positive affirmations, practice guided imagery), our relationship to others (go out with friends for dinner, play games with our kids), our relationship to the natural world (hike through a forest, watch birds in a park), our community (shop at a farmers' market, help build a community garden), our relationship to the Divine (attend services at a local spiritual center, pray with our loved ones), our life’s purpose work (teach children, volunteer at a homeless shelter). We welcome people of all ages and backgrounds who are curious about or committed to living a healthy and harmonious life, and we look forward to meeting you!
