LIFE CHANGING DESPACHO ~ Release anything in 2024 that needs to GO!

We are hosting a “Despacho" ceremony on January 25th. This ceremony is going to focus on releasing from 2024 anything that didn't serve your highest purpose and bringing in 2025 with a fresh start. This is a beautiful sacred practice used in the shamanic community for many reasons. They are very powerful for bringing in new habits and releasing old ones. The beginning of the year is a perfect time to come together and build a Despacho.

When we work in ceremony such as the ayni despacho, we work at the level of the soul. A despacho is similar to a mandala or sacred creation as it holds symbolic elements and the prayers of the participants. As the shamans add the elements to the despacho, the vibration of the participants and the area raises. The despacho becomes a living prayer that brings energy shifts and healing. In the shamanic tradition, an ayni despacho is done with the intention to bring oneself and one’s community into right relationship with the natural world. It creates a sense of union, harmony and reciprocity with nature.

For the ayni despacho, the shaman begins with a large piece of white paper that will serve as a ‘wrapping’ for all the offerings. All ingredients have significance, and each receives prayer before being placed on the paper. Coca leaves or bay leaves are used to hold prayers. Sugar and various sweets bring sweetness and love to the prayers. Corn and other grains are used to nourish participants and the Pachamama (the Earth). All ingredients will be provided for you. Once all ingredients have been added, the shaman carefully folds the bundle into the shape of a square ‘gift’ and ties it. After a despacho is prepared, the shaman uses it to cleanse the energy body of each participant.

A practicing Shaman will walk you thru putting together this sacred work. This Despacho will help you set in place your intentions for your life. Using goals and resolutions you will be able to place them in the despacho so they can come to fruition. The despacho takes the form of a very beautiful offering bundle. A sequence of items is placed on a flat surface, each representing the dedication of some aspect of life, helping to bring back wholeness. The process itself is an opportunity to reflect for all who participate. As the ceremony progresses, all involved form “k’intus”, little groups of three leaves, and, with their own breath, place their prayers and offerings into these. They are then added to the ceremonial bundle. We will have everything you will need to create a group despacho. You can bring a note to the universe to add or anything burnable that you want to add to the despacho.

The Medicine Wheel is a symbol of spirituality and of the individuals' way to finding their path. It is a journey of truth, harmony and peace. The Medicine Wheel is a representation of the wheel of life, which never ends and is always evolving and bringing new lessons. It helps us with our vision to see where we are and what areas we need to develop to fully realize our true potential. The Medicine wheel will offer you an opportunity to look into your past lives, present life and make changes to support your intentions. You will be able to gather a better understanding of who you are. This will aid you in the path you are on. The wheel can strengthen your intuition by working through roadblocks that impede where you want to go.

During this journey we will use the Shamanic practice of building your own Mesa. A Mesa is a portable altar or medicine bundle which is used for many things including healing, ceremony, prayer and divination. Through your journey you will build your mesa which will include healing stones as well as other artifacts representing elements of the holders personal healing journey.

While doing this work you will work through the process of the four directions, South, West, North and East. In the South we will work through past traumas. In the West we will work on walking through life fearlessly. In the North we will learn to sip the nectar of life. In the East we learn to step outside our comfort zones. This experience is a reinvention of on a cellular level and the process of healing our own journey. We will help you reinvent the areas of your life that need attention. You will also receive personalized one-on-one attention with a practicing Shaman. Become the you that's in your dreams!
