Hi Sweeps. Join Randy in Black Diamond Regional Park for a scenic hike along the Stewartsville and Star Mine Trails. This is a good, mud free, all weather hike, and we are sure to see some wildflowers. This hike is about 5 miles, with a gradual elevation gain of less than 600 feet. We will stop for lunch at about the hike half way point.
There is no restroom at the hike starting point, but there is a restroom at the mid point lunch stop on the hike. There is no parking fee. Friendly dogs on a leash are welcome on this hike.
Hike start location: Park along Frederickson Lane, Antioch, CA, just before passing the park entrance gate. See map in the Photos section of this post. https://maps.app.goo.gl/9EDx1RMq3vSXaTm68

We will hike at an average to slower pace (25-30 mins per mile) so we can enjoy the experience and still get the heart pumping. Please update your RSVP if you find that you are unable to attend the hike.
