What we’re about
This is a group for adults (30's and 40's) who enjoy hiking, and want to meet for some fun outdoor adventures. The group primarily focuses on local hikes at places like Umstead, Eno, Occoneechee, Falls Lake, etc. Occasionally we do other outdoor activities for special interest groups such as swimming, backpacking, birding, etc. There are also occasional weekend camping trips to other places within driving distance.
If you join our group, please read the description of a hike and make sure that you are physically fit to go on the hike before signing up.
Due to our large number of members, not everyone can be accepted for membership, so those who are a good fit for the group will be given priority.
