What we’re about

This group is for anyone interested in experiencing and learning about the amazing biodiversity of our area. We will explore nature through general nature walks experiencing local ecosystems and more in-depth outings focusing on a specific group of organisms such as birds or local flora. We will explore some of the many natural destinations in Hartford County, Connecticut and Hampden County, Massachusetts. All skill levels welcome from older children through adults. Members are encouraged to bring a camera and binoculars. I'm looking forward to exploring the incredible natural diversity of our part of the world together.
