Join us on video chat for an evening of murder intrigue. Stock up on the snacks, get the drinks in and settle down to find out whodunit...
A group of friends gather at a cottage in the woods for a friendly Halloween meal. Looking resplendent in their costumes they are mingling over drinks and canapes when it discovered that one of their party has been murdered. All quickly settle down to discuss what has happened and work out the guilty party. Everyone has their motives, but who is the killer?
Could it be—YOU?
All players will be assigned a character on the night and will ask/answer questions during the game and solve clues to try and work out who the murderer may be.
I've allowed people to RSVP until 30 minutes before the game starts (assuming there are spaces left). If you wish to get dressed up then that would be ideal. However, remember we can probably only see your chest, shoulders and head in the video chat and you'll need to find your costume out of whatever you have lying around in your house. If you don't want to/or can't get dressed up, that is fine too. For this game, coming as any Halloween character would be appropriate as players do not have set costumes.
We host the game on Zoom. You will need to have the free Zoom app on your phone, tablet or computer and a working camera and microphone (most modern laptops, phones and tablets have these as standard). Zoom link will be sent nearer the event.
You will also need a way of opening up a .pdf file for your character description. You will also need to give me your email address (if it is different to your PayPal address), so I can send your character details over. You will not get your character pack until around 30 minutes before the event (I often can't buy and sort out the packs until I've confirmed the player numbers!)
There is a £4 charge to cover the cost the game and of running the group.
Payment is required when signing up for this event. Please send £4 via the PayPal Friends and Family option to wammidlands@gmail.com or WhatsApp 07751668473 for bank details.
