Welcome to all those looking to venture out and do.
This is a social group with activities for those of us aged 45+. We look for interesting things to do in the Western Suburbs and occasionally elsewhere. Lets get out of the house and enjoy some good company.
Some rules - sorry folks
BY JOINING THIS GROUP AT ANY EVENT - YOU AGREE TO THE CONDITIONS BELOW.
We expect every member/guest to behave in a mature, courteous manner. We are not children and this is not a school yard. Hosting and organisation of this group is undertaken by volunteers – our time like yours is valuable and we are not here to take care of petty disputes.
As a member/guest of our group you agree to treat other members with respect and tolerance. We have no tolerance of negative behaviour, including intimidation, bullying, stalking or any form of abuse. We reserve the right to remove you from the group for inappropriate conduct.
Please be aware that this group is an inclusive social group.
We are NOT FOR PROFIT - No event or post to the discussion board is for an individual members personal financial benefit - these are social activities.
We are NOT A SINGLES OR DATING GROUP. However, it is possible to find love, romance and partnership within the group.
Respect our hard work – only RSVP yes if your intention is to come and RSVP no as soon as your circumstances change. Please avoid RSVP yes when you’re not certain of your attendance. We appreciate that at times where your ill or have a change in circumstances that prevent your attendance. As soon as this occurs all we ask is that you change your RSVP to NO prior to the commencement of the event. We do ask if we have booked a place at a table for you that you RSVP no as early as possible. Venues are not happy when we have a table with lots of empty seats.
All members and their guests acknowledge that by joining and attending scheduled events that they have read and understood these conditions. Hosts and organisers do not accept any responsibility for the welfare of its members or guests. It is understood that as adults, all care will be taken to safeguard oneself and be responsible for oneself at all times.
All members and guests who participate in scheduled events do so at their own risk. you acknowledge, agree and understand that you engage or participate in our events voluntarily and at your own risk and agree to assume full responsibility for the Risks generally and any particular risks.
Hosts and organisers ordinary members cannot be held accountable for any financial loss, injuries or otherwise that may occur as a result of a meetup event.
