The Garage Band are one of the best Soul, Rhythm & Blues Bands in The Midlands.
Their reputation is high, as they usually play at Corporate Events, Weddings etc. I first saw the band 30yrs ago when it consisted of four young fresh-faced lads. Over the years the band has doubled in size and also, have the occasional guest musician join them on stage.
Fronted by Hansel Palmer, lead vocalist and saxophonist, the band plays Soul (Otis Redding); Funk (Kool & The Gang/James Brown); Rock n Roll (Jerry Lee Lewis/Chuck Berry) plus Madness; Blues Brothers; Pulp Fiction. In fact - you name it, they can play it....!!!! They have fun on stage and welcome audience participation.

Doors open 7pm. The band starts their performance at approx: 8pm. Plenty of tables and seating available. I'll arrive for 7pm.

A variety of cocktails are priced at 2 for 1 during Happy Hour(s) 4.30pm - 8.00pm and must both be of the same.
Other drinks are available but will not included in the offer.
I shall arrive before 4.30pm and will be outside until the door is opened. Once inside, I'll head for the seating area at the far end of the room.

The Consortium is a band of top musicians brought together by Phil Stanley. Phil is the lead vocalist of The 3 Sixties and formerly of The Quick and The Coopers.
Phil and the band concentrate on playing mod/new wave music from the 1960's through to the 90's. You can expect to hear tunes of The Beatles; The Kinks; The Jam: Paul Weller etc..

The 5:15 Club is set back off the road. A driveway leads to parking on the right or left.
Access to the Club is passed a barrier on the right and a sort walk along the pathway, where you'll find a signpost.
The Club is within walking distance of Kings Norton rail station and public transport passes close by.

The East Street Band are a 7-piece authentic tribute to Bruce Springsteen & The E-Street Band. They have played together for 17yrs and are true to the sounds of their idols. You can expect to hear Dancin' in the Dark; Born To Run; Thunder Road and so many more.
