Topic #1: Has Humanity Lost touch with Reality?
"Where have all the Scientific Realist gone?

In the internet, social media & land of "X", we've entered the era of IDIOCRACY!
Homo-Couch's hunched over posture, staring at the little "blue pill" screen in its palm; life spent between 4 walls, most of humanity lives in a MENTAL FICTION of REALITY totally out of touch with the GREAT COSMIC, DEEP TIME, SCHEME OF NATURE.
LIKE LEMMINGS, WE ARE MINDLESSLY POURING OVER THE EDGE OF EXISTANCE.

A few of us have been listening to the cosmic background noise for any sign of INTELLIGENCE, but so far have only heard the faint sound of CRICKETS while gazing the night sky with our massive radio telescopes.

Is intelligence a recipe for extinction based on the Drake Equation? Or are we just simply too far apart from each other with our ever so short intelligent species life span, with its typical EXPLOSIVE/DESTRUCTIVE behavior to miss the signal? Perhaps an intelligent "Hello" may have passed over the heads of our beloved, now extinct Dinosaurs, but the lonely greeting has since gone silent long before the arrival of our Radio Telescopes?

Have deadly non-reality based memes infected our brains? Minds that are vulnerable to such thought viruses like Conspiracy Theories, Magical Thinking, and/or Tribal/National Confirmation Bias to finish the job that our more ancient religious/superstitious memes started?

Can this Non-Reality Memetic Toxin be cured? Is it possible to create a Mind Vaccine to innoculate our unique species from deadly nonsense to truely LOOK OUTWARD at physical reality - AS IT IS - instead of it being filtered by our confirmation biased rose colored glasses, INWARD into our Mental Mock Theater of "REALITY" constructed by the chaotic sea of Memes we let in! Can this Mind Vaccine of EVIDENCE BASED REASONING save our one and only KNOWN living world in this universe from destruction?
