What we’re about

A social book club for self-identified women who enjoy a good read and the company of fun, witty, and inspirational women, with a focus on books by women / BIPOC writers. In addition to our monthly book clubs, we also have events such as attending live theatre, music performances, going out to dinner, film screenings, author talks, visiting the art museum, et cetera.

We choose books as a group, and then meet up either at a member's apartment or a local restaurant in Portland to discuss our latest read and engage in good laughter and friendship. Our book club discussions take place on the first Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m.

Please note that our meeting locations are *close-in* Portland destinations.

One of the goals of this club will be to create an intimate atmosphere where members are familiar with each other and there is a sense of continuity in our events. In order to maintain this community, we will keep our group size within a certain number of members.

***Please be advised that after 3 to 6 months in the group, if you have not attended one of the monthly book clubs, or after repeated no-shows, you will be removed to make room for those on our waiting-list.***
