What we’re about
Welcome! Women of Westchester is a social group for women in their 50's and 60's. We're here to make new friends. Please take a look at our event calendar to see the kinds of activities that are offered. Our meet ups are generally held (but not limited to) White Plains, Mamaroneck, Thornwood, New Rochelle, Bronxville, Yonkers, Ossining, and on occasion Rockland County.
If you have an idea for a meet up, share it with us! If you would like to host an event we encourage you to do so here.
WOW is a community funded group. Everyone can enjoy a 30 day free trial period. After 30 days members will be asked to pay a yearly fee of $10.00 to help cover costs charged by meet up and to contribute to some of the group events.
When applying for membership to WOW please include a clear picture showing your face for recognition purposes. Your application cannot be accepted without one.
Kindly show consideration toward women hosting events. They put their time and effort into them. Not showing up or canceling last minute greatly impacts the meet up planned. Sorry, but if you're a 'no show' or last minute cancellation 3 times your membership will be discontinued.
In the spirit of making friends and maintaining our warm and inclusive community, we do ask that members not use our group to recruit for another Meetup group or a private group because that undermines this group.
