What we’re about
Want to get out and about in Annapolis and Anne Arundel county (and sometimes venturing a little beyond)? Are you over 40? Then this group is for you! Have fun in and around the Greater Annapolis/Anne Arundel area with people your own age. The group isn't designed specifically for singles or couples. We have a mix of all sorts of people!! Everyone is welcome.
This group will be focused on building community, cultural events, and finding fun things to do in and around town while meeting new people. We run social events and are also looking for ways to volunteer with non-partisan groups. If you are already involved in an organization and want to organize an Active Annapolitan group to join you, we'd love to hear from you, as well!
We will host events such as trivia nights, meals, hiking, volunteering, festivals, boat trips, happy hours/wine tastings, sporting events, whatever you want to do. This group encourages members to bring ideas and help create events. Let's get out, have some fun, make new friends, and enjoy where we are in our lives and what this town has to offer!
