What we’re about
Want to get out and about in Annapolis and Anne Arundel county (and sometimes venturing a little beyond)? Are you over 40? Then this group is for you! Have fun in and around the Greater Annapolis area with people your own age. The group isn't designed specifically for singles or couples. We have a mix of all sorts of people!! Everyone is welcome.
This group will be focused on interacting with the community, cultural events, and finding fun things to do in and around town while meeting new people and hopefully learning about new things to do in town. We have happy hours and social events but we also volunteer with non-partisan groups to give back. If you are already involved in an organization and want to organize an Active Annapolitan group to join you, we'd love to hear from you, as well!
We will host events such as trivia nights, hiking, volunteering, wine festivals, boat trips, happy hours, sporting events, whatever you want to do. This group encourages members to bring ideas and help create events. Let's get out, have some fun, make new friends, and enjoy where we are in our lives and what this town has to offer!
