Acworth Cobb Dragon Boat Club

Warm weather is here and it is time to be on the water. If you are interested in participating on the newly formed Acworth-Cobb Dragon Boat Club "Lake Acworth Dragons" come join us. We look forward to seeing everyone . This is a great opportunity to learn a new sport and become part of a growing team.

Our paddle is schedule for Saturday, at Lake Acworth, Cauble Park, Acworth, Ga. Practice starts at 8:30am and on the water at 9:00am.
We will board the boat from the beach so be sure to wear water shoes and comfortable clothes that can get wet, a hat and sunscreen. Bring water.
We must have at least 10paddler therefore practice will be cancelled if the numbers aren't there.
You are invited to paddle with us for $10 a paddle and then after 2 paddles we ask you to join the team. The amount you have paid will go towards your half season dues of $67.50(which can be paid in one payment or 2).
Hope to see everyone on thecesrwr. Remember we want to grow the team and need each of you in the boat. **There is No park entry fee.

This is for all of you who can't practice on Saturdays or want an extra practice. We will begin having practice on Tuesday evenings, weather premiting and at least 10 signed up. For all team members this will be an extra practice and is covered by your dues. If you are new to dragon boat paddling come join us, try it out and you might find this is your new sport.
It's $10 per practice for 2 times and then you can join the team. Life jackets and paddles are provided. Also instruction from the team coach. Bring water and sunscreen. Also we load the boat from the beach so you will need water shoes and pants that can get wet. Maybe a change of clothes. There is no charge to come in the park. If there is someone at the gate just tell them your are with "Lake Acworth Dragons" Hope to see a full boat
