What we’re about
Adventure Cabaret is a collaborative theater group in the San Francisco Bay Area that is launching a major theater/multimedia production, opening in the San Francisco theater district in March. Our goal is a massive cultural breakthrough–in theater, in deep content and in community. We expect our production to become a cultural phenomenon, and we want you to be part of creating that phenomenon.
Adventure Cabaret includes everything: deep drama, original music, mysterious and profound questions, multimedia design, collaboration and confrontation with the audience, and pointed absurdity that contains hidden deep meanings. In an age of utter corruption and cynicism, our production embodies the highest ideals of free inquiry, courage and genuine morality.
We are developing the show in collaboration with the public. This means that we have public rehearsals, to which anyone is invited. Anyone who attends a rehearsal can participate in discussions of the content, and even participate in the rehearsal.
We are also looking for people who want to be further involved in the project, in various ways:
o Stagehand
o Stage manager
o Marketing and Publicity
o Accounting
o Costumes
o Makeup
o Lighting and sound
Even if you just attend a public rehearsal and provide a way for the actors to play to a small audience during rehearsal, you're still helping out.
