*** The purpose of our meetup.com group is to let more folks know about our monthly Meet n' Greet socials. If you want to participate in all of our activities, we ask that you join our privately-maintained website, http://www.adventureclub.info**, for a $36 annual fee to sign up for our events.***
The Adventure Club of Gainesville is an ACTIVITY-based group of about 150 members with members' ages ranging from the 30s to the 70s. The Club has been active in the Gainesville area for over 20 years, and the idea behind it is that it's more fun and memorable to do things with a group than it is to do things alone. The group is currently about 30 percent couples and 70 percent singles, and our meet n' greets are focused on the activities we engage in doing, not just meeting a possible partner. The club events vary each month, but they can include sky diving, hang-gliding, swimming, skiing, biking, kayaking, performing community service, attending theatre, dining, partying, having game nights, and just about any activity that a member can think about doing.
