Atlanta based nonprofit, Wedge Inc, in collaboration with the Atlanta Interdisciplinary AI (AIAI) Network present “Empowering Narratives: AI and Artistry in Atlanta’s Historically Underserved Creative Communities.”
Empowering Narratives is a series Atlanta based workshops and creative storytelling events partnering with Atlanta area poets, writers, filmmakers, and creators in accessibility, underrepresented, LGBTQ2IA+, and immigrant communities to explore traditional and next generation artistry.
We’ll also highlight the ethical use of AI technology, define data bias and data justice, and collect feedback data from the community. In Fall 2024 we will showcase our storytellers and give them a chance to share their work. Presented by Wedge and AIAI (Emory, Georgia Tech, and Clark Atlanta University), an intentionally interdisciplinary network of Atlanta-based researchers investigating how to enlist AI ethically, equitably, and in the service of justice.
