Aldercar and Langley Friends

Fettling! In advance of the Aldercar & Langley Mill Festival, a bunch of us are going down to the Co-Op in Langley Mill to tackle a clean up of their unused carpark. Well, would you have looked if I'd called it 'litter picking and tidying'?

There's a fair amount of weed pulling and sweeping to be done, so decent shoes and a pair of garden gloves if you have some. If not gloves will be supplied.

UPDATE; BETWEEN 23 AND 25 DEGREES ON MONDAY BRING SUNSCREEN, A HAT IF YOU HAVE ONE AND A BOTTLE OF WATER. IT CAN BE REFILLED IN THE CO-OP. THERE IS SOME SHADE UNDER THE TREES.
The closest loo is the co-op if you ask nicely or Trent offices across road. B&Q are donating brooms and bags.

Anyways volunteers required for an hour or two or four..... either way it will likely end in the pub, so if you can spare some time and fancy doing something outside, in company and feeling a little better about the place, then feel free to join us.

Bingo! Down at the pub!

Casual bingo in good company with plenty of giggles and groans......and a lot of moaning! At Inn the Middle pub, we will be on the left hand side as you walk in the front door.

Several games of bingo, quite a bit of gossip, not forgetting sticky game! Bingo costs 25p a card and proceeds go into the winners pot, sticky is £1.

Coffee for a quid available at the bar along with a bar menu if you are peckish.

Winners get the pot.

Parking on North Street car park at the side. There's a Rainbow 1 stop just outside.

BRING CHANGE!

New band Dilemma (previously Breaking News but now with a new female singer) are making their debut performance at The Gate Inn in Loscoe. Rock and pop songs from the 1960s to present day. Arrive 8ish to get a seat and drink before the music starts at 8.30pm.

The pub is on the main road through Loscoe, has a car park and is on the Rainbow One bus route.
