What we’re about

Hello, are you wanting to go for a walk or wanting to start your fitness journey but don't know how? My name is Marina, I'm a 51 year old Kettlebell athlete. What does that mean? It just means I stay relatively active, I'm strong, I swing weigthted bells and occasionally go for competitions internationally.

However, this group, called Humans of Movement is not about that. It is about finding a friend, a person, who is like-minded like you. Who wants to be more mobile, and wants to not feel alone having that goal. My role is to give you a safe space to first, understand why and what you want, what is holding you back and to feel its ok, if all you can and want to do is walk, or sit and talk.

I started working out just before COVID, I use to pay for gyms and never go, or went and felt out of place as an older member or unfit person. I still have a long way to go before ever wearing those yoga outfits BUT I do have the passion and determination to help others just feel and be better by movement.

So once a week (for now) - I will be at Stevia Lookout Point in Bukit Antarabangsa, Ampang at 8.30am every Thursday for a 2hr chat/stretch and walk session.

Come be friends and start your new you.
