What we’re about
The goal of the Anacortes Critique Group is to improve our craft with like-minded (interesting, awesome) writers. We are a group of writers who like to give and receive thoughtful critiques.
Everyone in the group submits pages to critique. Everyone in the group critiques.
What do we critique?
We critique fiction and nonfiction. Participants will be asked to provide line edits and/ or overall impressions. We currently do not critique screenplay or poetry.
Where do we meet?
We meet every two weeks, Tuesdays, at 2pm, at the Anacortes Chamber of Commerce meeting room. Our in-person meetings usually run about an hour to 1.5 hours. We are an active group that corresponds primarily through email. This meetup group is a place to find writers who would like to join us.
In 2025 we will be changing our group meets to Weds, at 2pm, at the Anacortes Chamber of Commerce.
