Hi Antelope Valley (and surrounding areas),
Thanks for checking out the page and all are encouraged to join. Trying to start a Board gaming group in the Antelope valley for all ranges from Light casual/party games, card games, to Heavy thinky Euro board games.

Game Night at the OUTreach Center
OUTreach Center, 44845 Cedar Avenue, Lancaster, CA, USLooking for a LGBT+ affirming safe space to meet other gamers? Look no further! The OUTreach Center provides a safe space for all you Gamers out there. Come and join like-minded individuals for fun games and good conversations. First Tuesday of the month is still Blood on the Clocktower, but every Tuesday is for any game. I run tabletop games in one room, my brother does video games in another.
As with all of our programs, individuals under 18 must be accompanied by someone 18+ who will be responsible for them (does not have to be a parent).

Mini-Event at Transplants Brewery - Horrified
Transplants Brewing Company & Live Music Venue, 40242 La Quinta Ln Unit 101, Palmdale, CA, US"Imagine living in a place so wretched that it's not plagued by one, two, or even three monsters — but seven of the most horrifying fiends! In this game, you'll come face to face with them all as you work together to rid the town of the maniacal or misunderstood creatures - before it's too late.
Horrified is a co-operative game where players battle the classic Universal movie monsters. Players win or lose together. Players win when all Monsters are defeated but will lose if the Terror track reaches the skull space OR the Monster deck is empty when a card is needing to be drawn.
On a player’s turn, they will do their Hero phase actions. Then the Monsters act in the Monster phase. Event cards determine which monster is in play.
Horrified includes high-quality sculpted miniatures (Frankenstein, The Bride of Frankenstein, The Wolf Man, Dracula, The Mummy, The Invisible Man, Creature from the Black Lagoon). Its innovative, easy-to-learn, cooperative gameplay has players working together against the monsters with varying levels of difficulty. Just as each monster is unique, they require different strategies and tactics to be defeated."
~BGGThis is a mini-event where we showcase and play one game. Mini-events will range in size depending on the player count of the game. Because of this, we will only take those that RSVP, but you are free to come watch. Please only RSVP if you know you WILL attend. Space is limited.
We will be playing at Transplants Brewery. Check out my collection over at Board Game Geek and make a suggestion of a game you'd like to see showcased.
The event starts at 7:00 pm and will conclude after we finish. I only plan on running a single game, but depending on the mood we may play more. There is no cost for the event.
There are occasional food trucks to buy grub and snacks from and Transplants has a variety of spirits, along with drinks for those into non-alcoholic beverages, if you would care to support a local brewery. They have been nice enough to provide the space for us to use.
