The Astoria Tech Group is (you guessed it) a community of local technologists of all levels in Astoria.
Having lived here for some time, we know that our neighborhood is full of tech talent, both creative and technical. For that reason, we decided to start organizing the talent for both our and our neighborhood's sake!
Currently, we hold:
- Weekly coffee get-togethers
- A semi-monthly nighttime meetup
- A monthly hack session for community projects
So whether you work in, want to work in, or are just interested in tech, you're welcome to join any of our events!

Hey neighbors, happy September! 🍁
Our next evening meetup will be on Wed, September 24th at 6:30pm.
As per usual, we'll be hosting the meetup at Our House Queens, a co-working & event space here in Astoria.
This month, in addition to our usual rapid demos, we'll have NYC Mesh do a presentation on the project, the goals for Astoria, and maybe a live technical demo if we're lucky!
It'll be a night of learning and discussion, so come out and hang with the local tech & tech-adjacent community.
