The Ballroom Dance Center is hosting a FREE Open House for anyone to come and learn some partner ballroom dancing! There will be a 30-minute-ish group lesson where partners get rotated around so everyone has a chance to dance with each other. After that, the floor will open and there will be a particular dance “assigned” to each song.
The group lesson starts at 7pm, so please be on time (early is better) so you at least have one dance under your belt for when the floor opens up. You will have the opportunity to meet with the studio founder and owner, Emilie Tobias, to get some information about the studio and what they offer anyone that wants to learn ballroom dances.
The dress “code” is casual, but you can dress up however you like as long is it is comfortable. Comfortable shoes with leather soles are recommended for easier turning.
The studio would like a headcount before the event. So, if you are coming, please RSVP here as soon as you can. On Wednesday, I will call the studio and give them a number.
This Friday. 7pm. You don’t need any experience (I didn’t have any last time I showed up). The staff and other students are super nice and supportive! Hope to see you there!
