What we’re about
Since the mid-1990's, we've been bringing together folks interested in cognitive neuroscience, AI/machine learning, data engineering, physics, chemistry, evolution, genetics, psychology, medicine, pharmaceutical design, energy storage/renewable energy, prediction modeling, philosophy and history of science, linguistics, cybersecurity and other topics. There are subject matter experts, PhDs, MD's, engineers, professors, students, intellectual property developers, startup founders (or aspiring) and local science enthusiasts in the network of over 800 people. We started with less-structured "jam sessions" based on a topic or particular scientific paper, while lately we feature presentations by subject matter experts, with plenty of space and time for discussion and questions. Cafe visits, networking and more conversations afterwards. Open to everyone!
